This week I received my September Glossy Box, so I thought I would do a first impressions post!
For those of you that are not familiar with Glossy Box it is a subscription based programme through which you receive “the best beauty products and the latest makeup trends every month direct to your home. Each member of Glossybox receives a shiny Glossybox containing five specially selected luxury samples. Whether it is a product by a luxury brand or a special new product – the products range from the hottest lipsticks to the newest hair products. All samples were specifically selected and tested by our professionals. Glossybox lets you discover simply your new favourite products for your day-to-day life or glamorous nights out.”
If you’re anything like me and love trying out new products- I recommend this! It’s a nice treat every month and you definitely find some amazing gems that become a must-have in your makeup collection!
So, September’s Glossy Box is a special London edition (love the cute packaging) which has products of 5 popular British brands;
Elizabeth Arden’s “Untold” fragrance;
This smells absolutely beautiful! Its a modern floral scent that definitely encapsulates the scent of a confident woman. It lasts for AGES! I’m already sold with this and will be investing in a full size bottle very soon !
Eylure’s Pre-Glued Lashes
I’m so excited to try these because when it comes to the glue for eyelashes- it can get really messy and ruin your eye make-up which is a pain- I will definitely be doing a review on these once I’ve tried them. The only problem I can see is the strength of the glue may become really weak after its first use because I use my lashes as many times as I can, lets see!
Toni & Guy HairMeet Wardrobe Classic Shine & Gloss Serum
Ironically, I was on the hunt for a new serum for my hair as I’m running low on my Big Healthy Hair Argon oil serum so this is perfect! Its limited edition packaging is very sleek and classy and claims to control fizz and add a weightless shine. Its a full size product which is amazing!
Be A Bombshell Cosmetics “Onyx Eye Liner”
So this is a felt tip pen style liquid eye-liner- I’ve always been a bit sceptical about these because I find they dry out very quickly and unfortunately, when I tried to swatch it- it was dry already! EPIC FAIL!
Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips
So the name of this product gave me a giggle lol; it has this cheeky name as it has a versatile use- not only is it a lip balm but its also a healing and nourishing multi purpose SOS balm for cuts, burns, dry skin. It was originally developed as a nipple balm for breast feeding women! Should be interesting to try!
I will be doing a full review at the end of the month for these products so stay tuned for that !
